Where Apples go to Die is a dreary look at an Apple Store (an authorized reseller, before brick-and-mortar Apple Stores) in Kuwait that was left to languish after it closed mysteriously. Beige pre-iPod Macs, Think Different banners and the striped Apple were all left around to gather dust. Those Macs were from the era of my first Mac. Good times. Pictures are here.

Fair Game with Faith Salie is the best show on NPR, ever. I think it comes on at 8 pm on weekdays. Go find it, and listen to it. Trust me.

If you’re using a Mac, Sidenote from Pierre Chatel may be a useful app to have around. I’ve replaced Stickies with it, and can’t wait to get it up and running at work. And it’s free!

The Rubik’s Cube can be solved in 26 steps. By a super-computer. I’m not a super-computer…does that mean I still have to fiddle with a Rubik’s cube for hours before I get pissed and break it?
