  Hi! I'm David. And I'm incredible. A while back, during a compliment-gone-hilarious someone once told me that I was THE Incredible D-A-V. My guess is that Dave was the intended destination for that little name-game, but as I never liked the name Dave, Dav stuck.

When life gets heavy, links make it light again:

Lindsey pointed me back to this nugget from last June-ish: How to Live Happily with a Great Designer.

On October 20 between 8-9 pm, San Franciscans will turn out all non-essential lights for 1 hour and install 1 compact fluorescent light bulb. Lights Out SF estimates that “turning lights out in San Francisco for even one hour could save as much as 15 percent of the energy consumed on an average Saturday night”.

From BBC News: A meteor has crashed in Peru and is making hundreds of people sick. Or maybe it wasn’t so much a meteor as an optical illusion and a giant bubbling pit of “rich organic matter”. Is this the same “rich organic matter” that makes so many people sick at Porta-Potties?
