  Hi! I'm David. And I'm incredible. A while back, during a compliment-gone-hilarious someone once told me that I was THE Incredible D-A-V. My guess is that Dave was the intended destination for that little name-game, but as I never liked the name Dave, Dav stuck.

As many times as I tell customers at Apple to backup, and as rigorous as I am with my own data, I never thought to make a backup of my backup files. Now I have a portable hard drive that’s an eyelash from going out (clicking=doom) and I’m starting to panic.

I’m working on moving all of my files, including all of my old school work, to my brand spankin’ new Time Capsule…but it takes a long time to move 160 gigabytes of data and I’m worried it’s not all going to make it.

When I drive around Charlotte and look at the incredible amount of growth, I sometimes wonder what would happen if one of the cranes fell, especially any of the dozen or so that I’ve counted Uptown.

Now I guess I know.

What a phenomenal amount of destruction for a “freak accident”.

My Time Capsule has been shipped to me! It’s coming from Shanghai, and should be here by the 11th. How can something move from China to my hands in 2 days? That seems awfully difficult to accomplish.

Note: I don’t care how they’re doing it…it’ll be the coolest thing since forever.

If Shepard Fairey tells me to vote, I’m going to do it.
