I have done a very big thing. Very, very big. I made an offer on a condo, went back and forth a few times on price and accepted the seller’s final counter-offer. If God is willing (and the creek doesn’t rise) I’m going to be a homeowner.
But it wasn’t as easy as looking around a little, picking one, walking through and calling the movers. It’s been a complicated process with loads of education along the way. Buying property is complex, and so I plan to start a new series here called “Putting Down Roots - Buying My First Home” that will document and record my experience.
