Mail.appetizer!

You know that I’m a notorious emailer. Give me my MacBook Pro with Apple’s Mail.app or my iPhone over a phone call or text message any day. I have a bazillion folders, flags, Smart Folders and never delete my deleted items - just in case. So imagine my unadulterated glee when I learned one my my favorite plug-ins for Apple’s Mail.app, Mail.appetizer from Bronson Beta, was finally ready for Leopard! Yippee!
The only useful feature of Entourage is it’s new email notification (and Exchange capability, blah blah). Finally using Mail.app at work is more convenient! Now, just like my Windows using peers, I can choose to ignore emails based entirely upon their subject lines and sender and only pay attention to things that come from friends or immediate supervisors. (Note: if you work with me, you’ll know this is a lie. I usually respond to most messages before my colleagues are finished writing them.)

Too much.

Between my knife-point incident Thursday, a nasty allergic reaction that left me heaving at work on Saturday and the on-going stress of buying real estate, I think it’s too much. As I told Lindsey at lunch, if I could just make the buying process stop and get all my money back I would.
I’m overwhelmed, a little afraid and way out of cash. The bank shows no sign of slowing down in the absurd amount of information that they need and if I have to sign my name one more time, I’m not going to recognize the words.
I’m not writing to complain. It’s more of a document of this particular stage of the home-buying process. Someone told me when I started that it was like adding another full time job while life kept happening around you. Ain’t that the truth.
