What’s that you say, throngs of readers? Why, oh why haven’t I posted anything at all in a very long time? I shall tell you that it is for the same reason I am posting this entry at 4:42 in the morning on a Monday.

I’ve been pretty busy.

If you are a devotee of my life and follow my Facebook status updates you may know my big news. If you aren’t, then you had better prove to me that you have something better to do with your time. Tuesday of next week will be my last day at McColl Center for Visual Art after a more-good-than-bad two and a half years and I’ll start down a whole new - yet probably more in-line with my experience - career at Queens University of Charlotte as Creative Services Project Manager in the Office of Marketing and Community Relations.

I’m excited about the change, but a bit tired from the transitioning. I gave three weeks notice at the Center, and have been working my tail off ever since.

Now that I have shared my big news, I want to share the Peri Peri Keychain. Why? So you can enjoy the thrill of opening packages over and over again, of course!

Here are a few other things I’ve been meaning to share for awhile. Every single one is worth a look:

  • Faceout Books is a blog about book cover design. Interesting notes on the image selection process on most of them.
  • Vintage Color Photos of US Cities is both accurately named and slow loading, but I find something charming about the images and I think it’s worth the wait.
  • Daphne Padden makes me want to be an illustrator. But only if I can be one in London in the 60s.

I love the feeling of tearing into a new Molskine notebook. This time I went with quad-ruled. Love it!
